We are hiring team members for the Welcome Desk, Facility Clean Team and COREkids Child Watch. Positions start in April 2025. Apply in February 2025. You can expect flexible hours, working 15 to 30 hours each week. Email us at info@corefit.org and let us know which positions interest you.

When will CORE open?

CORE is set to open its doors in summer 2025. You can receive construction status updates bycompleting the Stay in Touch form.

What is planned at CORE?

  • Fitness memberships provide access to state-of-the-art strength, cardio, and free weight equipment, indoor and outdoor workout spaces, three studios for group exercise classes, two full-size gyms for pickleball, basketball, and volleyball, plus an indoor walking track.
  • COREkids provides child watch while parents workout.
  • Recreation programs will feature the best basketball and volleyball sports academies and skills classes for children and teens. Summer camps and off-track sports activities are planned.
  • Features include all gender restrooms, showers, keyless lockers, a lounge with lots of seating, and a co-working space for adults.

Is there a cost to use CORE?

Yes. Fitness memberships are available for adults, seniors, and youth. Pre-opening special rates are available for a limited time. See the Memberships page.

How is CORE different from other fitness facilities in Elk Grove?

What about parking?

We are expanding the nearby parking area in front of CORE. For those looking to “warm up”, you get in a ¼ mile walk from the Morse Park parking area on Sorrentino Dr. Plus, there are 150 street parking spaces along Bellaterra Dr.

Can I talk with someone about CORE to learn more?

Yes, the CORE Preview Center is open at Wackford Community Center, 9014 Bruceville Road. Staff are on-site daily. Or call us at 916-405-5377.
